The Houghton wine cellar was completed in the spring 2019. The cellar is off the kitchen, where I combined the former pantry and storage rooms to make the 1,000 bottle storage wine cellar. It has custom built herringbone shelving, case storage, in addition the individual bottle storage. The cellar is temperature and humidity controlled with a Wine Guardian D025, which is in the basement below the wine cellar and cold-air ducted into the cellar. A custom built solid cherry door was created to accompany the existing cherry kitchen cabinets and floors.
